He started his career of medicine in the University of Guayaquil, Ecuador where he graduated in the year of 2002. He obtained a Master’s degree in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He finished his specialization and residency at hospital of Santa Casa de Misericordia Rio de Janeiro, Brazil under Doctor Ricardo Cavalcanti Ribeiro and with the support of Post-Graduation Medical Hospital of Santa Casa de Misericordia, Finishing in the year 2010.
Since then he has participated in numerous International and national seminars that specialized in the field of plastic surgery. He also participated in the publication of the second edition book in reconstruction of the breast (Reconstrucción Mamaria) written by Dr. Ricardo Cavalcanti Ribeiro. He has also published various articles about plastic surgery in several national and international magazines and at the same time he periodically receives publications from other colleagues from Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, USA, Argentina, Spain, and France.
He has dedicated his private practice to Plastic, Aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in body and face obtaining great results and experience throughout his career. The majority of the patients of Dr. Garcia are located in Bogota, Cali and in many cities in the interior of Colombia. He also has a great number of patients from several countries such as Brazil, Ecuador and Mexico, among others.
