Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty can be undertaken either as a standalone procedure or in conjunction with rejuvenation treatments targeting other facial areas. The objective of blepharoplasty is to address the aging and fatigued appearance resulting from the increased sagging of eyelid skin and muscles, both above and below the eyes. This is often accentuated by the protrusion of fatty tissue “pockets,” creating a characteristic swollen appearance that may even impact vision.

In cases where the removal of lower eyelid skin is not indicated, but the focus is on addressing the fatty tissue “pockets,” a procedure known as Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty is performed. This technique involves the removal of these fat deposits without cutting the skin, utilizing the conjunctiva of the lower eyelid as the entry point.
